1983 - 1988     Psychoanalytic Therapist, Boston Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies

                        Brookline MA

                        Saw patients in analytic therapy as part of my training at BCMPS.

 

1985 1986       Clinical Intern, Department of Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School at the

Massachusetts Mental Health Center, Boston, MA

Responsibilities included evaluation, individual and group psychotherapy, case management, and psychological testing on an inpatient psychiatric unit (3/4 time), as well as individual and family therapy and walk-in evaluation of outpatients (1/4 time).

 

1983 - 1984     Intern, Brighton-Allston Mental Health Clinic, Brighton, MA

Responsibilities included individual, group and family therapy, diagnostic evaluation, and psychological testing.

 

1979 - 1982     Staff Therapist, Mass Transition, West-Ros-Park Mental Health Center

Roslindale, MA

Mass Transition was an outpatient clinic for young people between the ages of 12 and 25 with adolescent adjustment or drug-related problems.  Clinical responsibilities included individual therapy, leading a young adult therapy group, couples and family therapy, and diagnostic evaluations. Also did school and community consultation work, including workshops on drug abuse and on adolescent development, for parents, students and teachers.

 

1977 - 1978     Counseling Intern, Wollaston Day Treatment Center, South Shore Mental

Health Center, Quincy, MA

Responsibilities included both individual and group therapy with chronic psychiatric outpatients.  Lead both verbal and activity-oriented groups.
